My name is David John. I am so excited you’ve received one of my Eagle Scout project beacons.
The goal of my Eagle Scout project was to raise money to purchase 50 Guardian Angel Micro Series Infrared Safety Lights (beacons) and beacon uniform mounts, for the Polk County Sheriff's Office. These lifesaving beacons emit infrared light that can only be seen with night vision equipment and are used to track law enforcement officers involved in foot pursuits, monitoring police K9s operating off-lead, as well as, assisting with the recovery of an injured officer.
Over the course of my project, I raised enough money to purchase 65 beacons, 80 clips and 8 extra-large dog kennels. I am thankful for the outpouring of support I received from my community. Below are a few highlights from my project.
