Follow the steps below to mount the IR Beacon onto the deputy's uniform.
This is how the beacon will look once the mount is attached.
It is best to attach the mount to your uniform or vest when you are not wearing.
To attach the mount, slide the mount onto the epaulet. It is very snug but will slide on with a little force.
Attach the IR beacon to the mount by bringing the magnets together.

The mount and two screws are included in the package. To securely mount the beacon you will need a standard phillips screwdriver.
Open the mount by pushing down on the clip (this can be difficult as the mount closes securely). Remove the bottom magnet from the IR beacon. Line up the bottom screw holes of the IR beacon with the beacon mount and screw them together.
This is how the IR beacon will look after the mount is securely attached.
Attaching the mount to the K9 harness is very easy. Open the mount, and with the IR beacon pointing to the sky, apply pressure to the mount until it snaps shut around the K9 harness.
